Srinagar:Jammu and Kashmir Police arrested three drug peddlers in North Kashmir’s Sopore and recovered a quantity of contraband from their possession.
A police spokesperson in a statement said, “A police team, led by the SHO of Police Station Panzalla, intercepted three suspicious individuals at a checkpoint in Hamdania Colony, Naidhal Rafiabad. The suspects have been identified as Aadil Ahmad Lone, son of Mohammad Rajab Lone; Mohammad Shafi Sheikh, son of Ghulam Nabi Sheikh; and Sajad Ahmad Lone, son of Mohammad Sadeeq Lone—all residents of Nadihal Rafiabad.”
During a personal search, 122 grams of a charas-like substance was recovered from their possession. “All three individuals were taken into custody. A case has been registered under FIR No. 06/2025 at Police Station Panzalla under relevant sections of the law, and further investigation is underway,” police said.
