Jammu:Republic Day was celebrated with traditional fervour and gaiety across the Jammu region on Wednesday, Shurveer Jammu Sangathan unfurling the national flag at the main Chowk Muthi. The Function was orgnised by Shurveer Jammu Sangathan under the leadership of Veer Singh Hindu (President SJS) & Arun Seeky (Gen. Secy SJS).
The Programme was attended by Raj Roop (Ex Sarpanch), Partap Singh Jamwal (Poltical Activist), Bhanu Partap Singh (President Legal Cell SJS), Abdul Reham (President Gujjar Biradri), Om parkash (Panch).
Patriotic fervour was visible across the Sangathan Activists as local residents, including shopkeepers, were seen hoisting flags in their localities, while groups of enthusiastic youths, carrying tricolour, went around on their motorcycles and raised slogans in praise of the country.
SJS Heartiest greetings of 'Republic Day' dedicated to justice, freedom, equality, national unity and integrity and fraternity in the world's largest democracy.
