Jammu:
Jammu and Kashmir Government has sent a proposal to promote three more IPS officers of 2010 batch as Incharge DIGs to fill up the vacanct posts. Around 17 posts of the DIGs are lying vacant in Jammu and Kashmir, and the posts of Jammu-Samba-Kathua (JKS) and Srinagar-Budgam-Ganderbal (CKR) ranged are with additional charges.

Three IPS officers of 2010 batch including Rayees Bhat, Sridhar Patil and Rajiv Pandey are to be promoted within a month or so. At present Rayees Bhat is posted as AIG (P&T) PHQ, Addl Charge AIG Building PHQ, Sridhar Patil is posted as SSP Jammu and Rajiv Pandey was sent to UT of Ladakh yesterday.
At present Imtiaz Ismail Parray is posted as SSP Crime Kashmir, Shailendra Kumar Mishra is posted as SSP Kathua, Jammu and Rahul Malik is posted as SSP Bandipura, Kashmir.
