Anuj Chauhan could not have imagined a slip of tongue will hand him in so much trouble.
While talking to his office colleagues during Chai-Sutta session outside office gate he said he has to leave early as he has to pick his wife Rashmi from airport.
After coming to know that Bhabhi Ji is returning after spending fifteen days with her parents, Anuj’s friends gave him a stern look.
“Two weekends plus Makar Sankranti holiday, full five days and nights, in addition working days evening ko hum log jyaada busy bhi nahin rehte hain aaj kal. What a waste fellow you are. You did not call us even for one evening in these fifteen days”, asked agitated Arun one among Anuj’s close friends.
Arun asked, “When my wife went to her hometown, full three days Rashmi ko, office mein kaam hai kahke daru piya tha mere ghar mein baith ke. If you had monetary issues, you could have asked us. Boss, where we will get such nice opportunity”.
Arun added, “Full night you can drink looking at the sky, bashing your manager as much you want, so many startup ideas come after fully drunk. In addition, no risk of getting caught on roads for drunken driving. You have also told your neighbors are techies who drink a lot like us, so no chance of compliant coming from theme either. Tere jaisse dost na ho toh aacha hai”.
Arun and co put a restriction on Anuj. Till he hosts a daru party at home, no one will call him for chai, sutta, no one will help him to get forgery medical bills for tax benefit”.
Luckily for Anuj, Rashmi had to go to her to parent’s place again for three days. Before Arun could return from airport after dropping Rashmi, Arun and Co were standing in front of his house. All of them had sent email to their manager saying, ‘not feeling well, cold, cough and fever’. After two bottles, dosti was back on track.
