When contacted, NC MP Mian Altaf Ahmad confirmed to Greater Kashmir that he would not be able to join the all-party delegation this time due to his commitment to the annual Urs at Wangath.
“Yes, my party had recommended my name for the all-party delegation, but due to some unavoidable work related to the upcoming Urs in the first week of June, I will not be able to join the delegation,” he said.
“I have already conveyed this to my party and the concerned ministry in New Delhi, and they have raised no objections.”
