JUVC Interacts with Hostel Boarders& Residents of the Campus

Prof Manoj Kumar Dhar, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu today interacted with boarders of Girls & Boys hostel and residents of residential area of the campus.
Vice Chancellor took stock of the situation on ground and enquired about the health of all the stakeholders of residents staying on the Campus and emphasized upon all Student, Scholars and  employees  that during these trying times, follow all  SOPs which is being announced by the government agencies from time to time and assured them  like always, University administration is with them in this need of hour and whatever possible shall be undertaken to provide best possible facilities for the boarders and the residents staying on Campus.
Furthermore, Vice Chancellor directed the hostel staff to provide hygienic diet  and other immunity boosters to the all boarders of both Girls and boys hostels and assured them that soon RT PCR tests will be undertaken for those who have tested positive in the Rapid Antigen Test (RAT).
It is pertinent to mention here that no sooner area in and around University of Jammu was declared as micro containment zone, University administration immediately converted all the teaching on the Campus to online mode. Prof Dhar appreciated the working of the Committee which has been constituted to coordinate with district administration. The Committee comprise of Prof Parkash Antahal, DSW, Convener, Prof Yashpal Sharma, Provost, Boys Hostel,Provost, Girls Hostel, Prof Vinay Chauhan, OSD to VC, Dr Parmil Kumar, Dr Bharat Bhushan and Dr Shabana Azmi, Medical Officers and Dr Sarveshwar Dubey, CSO. It is noteworthy to mention here that Prof Dhar also lauded the efforts of Dr Rakesh Chib, President, JUNTEU and the office bearers of various associations, the Medical officers, who are putting best possible efforts to take care of the residents and boarders staying on the Campus.
Among others Prof.Parkash Anthal, DSW, Provost Girls Hostel,  wardens of Girls hostel and Boys Hostel,Dr. Parmil Kumar, President JUNTEU Dr.Rakesh Chib, Organizing Secretary Joginder Singh and Medical Officer Dr.Bharat Bhushan.
