Jammu:
Young, Dashing and Brave Cadets of Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua ranked First Prize in
March Past at the District Sports Stadium, Kathua
March past is all about synchronisation and teamwork. Marching in a contingent demands
alertness and unspoken coordination.
The drumbeat rolls, the band strikes up and a high-pitched voice issues a command. The
synchronised swing of arms and the sound of thudding feet stir something within us. Besides
being spectacular, there is something inexplicably inspiring about a march past, it is the sense
of dignity and pride that each cadet brings to it.

"दे सलामी इस तिरंगे को जिससे तेरी शान है,
सर हमेशा ऊंचा रखना इसका जब तक तुझमें जान है।"
A moment of colossal pride, gaiety and fervour as students of Jammu Sanskriti School,
Kathua lionheartedly performed the march past held at the district sports stadium, Kathua.
They marched magnificently symbolising tranquillity, stability, joy, passion, power and
strength.

Our young, iconic cadets led by Mr Chirag Vashisht, Commander, Marching Contingent,
Jammu Sanskriti School, Kathua demonstrated the heel march by digging their heels to the
ground with toes pointed upwards and arms swinging rhythmically. A comprehensive March
past drill that they showcased dressed in the pious colours of the Tiranga, they exuberantly
displayed inner strength, the spirit of patriotism and holding the integrity and solidarity of our
nation up high they saluted and co-ordinated each movement to the beat of the drum.
A well co-ordinated March past performed by our sanskritians was a feast to the eyes and
melody to the ears when coupled with some stirring marching beats.
The Management, Principal, Teaching Faculty, Parents and Students of Jammu Sanskriti
School Kathua rejoiced in happiness, joy and gaiety. Kudos to the Sports Department namely
Mr Ankush Andotra, PET and Ms Monika Sharma, PET under whose mentorship the
students were practising with utmost dedication and discipline.
