Jammu:Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu celebrated “National Sports Day” through virtual mode today in the benignant presence of Mr. Rashid Choudhary-

(Principal Jammu Sanskritti School, Kathua). The event commenced by welcome address by Ms Trishna Sharma (CCA COORDINATOR) followed by virtual presentation of saplings to Chief Guest by Ms Rohini Aima. The students of the
school displayed their talent in different games and sports and won the heart of all the dignitaries present on the occasion which culminated with a motivating song by Mr Gulshan Kumar (Music Teacher)
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rashid Choudhary, appreciated various events
organized by the school, wherein the selective students took part with great
enthusiasm. He also appreciated the team of coaches who did a commendable job in training the students. He has thrown light on the importance of National Sports
Day and highlighted the achievement of Sh. Major Dyan Chand after who’s name
this day is celebrated throughout the country. He also apprised the students that on this day different awards are distributed among the sports players in different categories. For motivating the students to opt sports as a career, he has highlighted various schemes of Govt. of India in different games and sports. While replying to the queries of the students, he said that one should have passion, zeal and zest towards the games and sports and one should keep the morale very high.
Ms. Rohini Aima, Principal cum Vice Chairperson addressed the gathering and highlighted the achievements in sports and other co-curricular activities. She also congratulated the students and the staff of the school for organising the National sports day successfully and conveyed gratitude to Mr. Rashid Chowadhry-Inspector, who was the Chief Guest for the occasion and other dignitaries for sparing their valuable time for gracing the occasion.
