New Delhi:Fast food company McDonald’s is set to cash in on the pakoda controversy that seems to taken over political debates in the country. The company has introduced McPakoda in its list of food items and hopes that the new snack will draw customers to its outlets.
Speaking to Faking News a source close the development said, “Many of our outlets in North India closed down last year and we were looking for revive our business in North with a revamped menu. Pakodas are popular in North and many roadside pakodawallas are doing great. So we thought of having our own version. McPakoda will first be introduced in North and then after judging the response we might take it to other parts of the country.”

The move could just revive the dwindling business of the company in the North and East region of the country. McD loyalists too seem to be pleased with the addition of McPakoda.

Sources say that the company plans to rope in cricketer Virat Kohli as the face of McPakoda.

BJP has welcomed the news and said that pakodas will script success story for McDonalds too like it did for other sellers. “Modiji ke policy ka nateeja hai ki chota aadmi ho ya badi company, har koi pakode bech kar rozgaar paa raha hai,” said a senior BJP leader.

Congress meanwhile continued it’s criticism of PM Modi and said the the Govt only helped big corporations. The party did not spare McDonald’s too and questioned why the company fails to find inspiration from Rahul Gandhi’s comments.
