Srinagar:
Muhri Company of Indian Army carried out a Kairiyat Patrol in the far flung Mohallas of Muhri on World First Aid Day. The remote areas of the higher villages are devoid of medical facilities such as Primary Health Centres or Hospitals & need for such basic medical amenities is indispensable as realised to a great extent during the Youth Interactions conducted in the affected villages as well.

The primary beneficiaries of this inititative were the children, women & the elder section of the population. They were provided with basic medical assistance, checked up for vitals like Blood Pressure, Oxygen levels as well as pulse & were provided with medicines wherever necessary.

A total of 40 houses & 78 indls were contacted by the the Patrol. Further, medical assistance to the needy has been planned on a regular basis on these lines. This further strengthened the bond which Humdard-E-Kupwara Battalion shares with Awam.
