Chairperson of the Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board, Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, visited Eidgah in Jammu, the shrine complex at Manda, and the shrine of Peerbaba Budan Ali Shah at Satwari to assess festival arrangements.

Dr. Andrabi was accompanied by Waqf Board officers and representatives of various departments.She instructed concerned officers to ensure foolproof arrangements for upcoming Juma-tul-Vida, Shab-e-Qadr, and Eid-al-Fitr congregations at these locations and others in the region.

Dr. Andrabi stated that the Waqf Board has taken all necessary steps to provide requisite facilities to all devotees participating in special festival congregations.

“We are committed to providing all facilities to the people, and the Board is working in coordination with other departments to ensure all arrangements are in place,” said Dr. Darakhshan.

She emphasized that the people of the UT have cooperated with the Board over the past two years, resulting in the re-establishment of a relationship of trust. As a result, the Waqf Board has excelled in all works related to its progress and development.
