With a view to foster the spirit of sportsmanship among the students, Budgam Police organised a Cycle Race, under the Civic Action Programme (CAP), from Railway Station Budgam and culminated at New Bus Stand  Budgam covering a distance of about 2.5 Kms.  

More than 200 students from different Schools participated in the event with keen enthusiasm.

During the pre flag off ceremony held at Railway Station Budgam, SHO Budgam interacted with the participants and expressed importance of nurturing the sportsmanship spirit among the youth especially students.

The event ended with a prize distribution ceremony where Cash rewards, mementos and certificates were distributed among the winners and participants of the event .

Besides refreshments were provided among all the Participants.
