BANDIPORA:
In a significant crackdown against terror funding and anti-national activities, Bandipora Police have attached immovable property measuring 33 Kanals and ½ Marla, valued at ₹6.93 crore, and a residential house worth ₹50 lakh. The property belongs to Farooq Ahmad Shah alias Rehmani, son of Abdul Ahad Shah, a Pakistan-based handler and resident of Onagam, Bandipora.

The action has been taken in connection with Case FIR No. 33/2022 registered at Police Station Bandipora under Sections 121 IPC, 18, 20, 39 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, and 2/3 of the E&IMCO Act.

Farooq Ahmad Shah has been actively involved in facilitating and promoting militant activities in the region at the behest of his handlers in Pakistan. The attachment of his properties serves as a stern warning to those who engage in or support anti-national activities.

Bandipora Police remain committed to curbing terror networks and ensuring peace and security in the region. Such decisive actions will continue to deter individuals from indulging in unlawful activities.

Citizens are urged to support the police in maintaining law and order by reporting any suspicious activities to the authorities.
