AWANTIPORA:As a part of Civic Action Programme 2023-2024, Awantipora Police have distributed school kits ,shoes , Uppers and Shirts among the needy students at Govt. Upper Primary School Dodkulan, UPS Nagpathri, UPS Zisbal,UPS Satoora,UPS Nagbal UPS Gulshanpora,Primary School Narigistan, UPS Shojan,UPS Darganiegund,UPS Hajinad On the occasion, SDPO Tral Shri Suhail Reshi & Dy. SP DAR Shri Abdul Gafoor and other officers of Awantipora police were present.
While interacting with the students, Officers speaking on the occasion, said that we believe that education is the key to empowering students and enabling them to live with dignity, self-respect, and confidence. Also assured them of all possible support in future as well and advised the students to concentrate in their studies and also take part in extracurricular activities.
At the end of the event, community members especially parents of the students expressed their gratitude for the support provided by Police Awantipora. They stated that such gestures would encourage parents to send their wards to school and reduce the burden of the educational expenses they have to bear.
