 J&K Police has recovered 70 Sacks of banned Polythene bags in the jurisdiction of Police Station Ghagwal, district Samba which were being illegally transported in a vehicle.

 A Police Party of Police Station Ghagwal headed by SHO PS Ghagwal, while performing routine vehicle checking duty at NHW naka Tapyal, intercepted a vehicle bearing Regd No. HP54B-3585 driven by driver Satish Kaali S/o Charanjit Kaali R/o Pathankot (Punjab) which was on way from Pathankot to Jammu.

 During checking of the said vehicle, 70 sacks of polythene bags, each weighing about 30 Kgs (2100kgs in total), were found laden inside the vehicle without any permission and were concealed tactfully beneath sacks of other goods.

 In this regard, the matter was taken up with District Pollution Control Board, Samba for further legal proceedings at their end.
