Jammu:Three days after a coronavirus case emerged at the Jagti migrant camp, the authorities have started extensive contact tracing. The swab samples of 13 primary contacts of the patient were taken on Saturday.
According to health officials, the samples were collected at Government Medical College, Jammu, and all of them have been quarantined at their homes in the township. Three lanes in the camp have been declared a red zone.
Officials said contact tracing was going on and the residents had been asked to voluntarily come forward in case they had interacted with the identified contacts of the patient, who is a policeman and had travelled from a red zone in Anantnag district on May 24.
