YUVTARANG 2018 unveiled by Education Minister at Cluster University

YUVTARANG 2018 : The Maiden Mega Cultural /Literary Contest organised by the Office of Dean Students Welfare, Cluster University of Jammu was unveiled by Jb. Mohd. Syed Altaf Bukhari, Hon'ble Pro Chancellor CLUJ and Hon'ble Minister for Education at GCW Gandhi Nagar, Constituent College of Cluster University of Jammu.
The students from the five constituent colleges of Cluj; GCW Gandhi Nagar, Govt. MAM College, Govt. SPMR College of Commerce, Govt. College of Education Jammu and GGM Science College are participating in the thirty - one events spread into three categories : KalAnjali (Performing Arts) covering Natak (Theatre), Nritya (Dance), Gayan, Vadan (Music), San Rachna (Creative Arts) , and Sahitya (Literati). Dr. Twinkle Suri, Dean Students Welfare CLUJ welcomed the guests and gave a detailed profile of the events to be organized in all the Five Constituent Colleges of CLUJ to be held from 20th24th February, 2018. She exhorted that the contest was a humble effort towards learning, sharing and commingling and exchanging thoughts under one umbrella that forms the essence of a Cluster. Prof Anju Bhasin, Vice Chancellor, CLUJ in her opening address exhorted that the vision of Cluster University of Jammu is to be ranked among J&K's top comprehensive universities. She added that the University envisages a road map towards accelerating the work of highest quality, outstanding student experience, student engagement and community development.
Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, Ho’nble Pro Chancellor, CLUJ & Minister for Education J&K Govt.,was the Chief- Guest on the occasion. He appreciated the relentless efforts of the University under the able leadership of Prof Anju Bhasin towards achieving commendable benchmarks in spite of limited resources and constraints. He also motivated the youth to channelize their energy and talent so as to become productive and progressive citizens of tomorrow. 
Priya Sethi, Hon’ble Minister of State for Education, Technical Education, Culture, Tourism, Department of Horticulture, Floriculture and Parks was the Guest of Honour.She extended her unyielding support to the University for churning out eminent researchers and dynamic entrepreneurs. A Cultural bonanza of dance and music was presented by the students of all the Five Constituent Colleges of Cluj. Prof. Poonam Dhawan, Dean Academics Affairs, Dr.JatinderKhajuria,Registrar,Controller Examination, Deans of various schools, CLUJ Principals of Constituent colleges, President CTA, Distinguished Academia from University of Jammu, Teaching Faculty from colleges , Prominent Media Heads and students graced the occasion. 
The programme was compered by Dr. Sandhya Bharadwaj, Miss Seerat Baji and the contest is being coordinated by Prof. Renu Nanda, Prof. Baljinder Kour, Prof. Sandhya Sankyedar and Prof. Savita Jamwal, Conveners, Cultural Committees of the constituent colleges. The formal vote of thanks was delivered by Prof Aekta Gupta, Cultural Coordinator, CLUJ who also coordinated the events of the contest.
