Udhampur Campus organizes extension lecture

Sunil Bhardwaj, Assistant Professor in Management, Bhaderwah campus, University of Jammu today delivered an extension lecture on working capital management; dimensions and zero working capital to the students of M.Com at Udhampur Campus, University of Jammu. Professor Bhardwaj explained in detail about the dimensions of working capital and zero working capital. 
He also discussed the concept of financial management, liquidity/ profitability risk and opportunity types of Working Capital. He gave different examples to make it clear to the students.
Professor Bhardwaj also shared his views on the importance of working capital and explained that the company’s ability to pay off short term expenses or debts will depend on working capital. Further he explained that too much working capital means that some assets are not being invested for the long term, so they are not being put to good use in helping the company grow as much as possible.The session was very interactive and an eye-opener for the students.
Dr. Neetu Kumari, Pardeep Kumar, Mamta Sharma, Dr. Deepti Abrol, Ritika Sambyal and Dr. Kamini Dutta were also present on the occasion.
