Police on Sunday claimed to have killed two LeT militants including a top commander and  snother surrendered during encounter in Cheedar area of Qaimoh of South Kashmir's Kulgam district.

A senior Police official told GNS that two militants have been killed and third one has surrendered and has been identified as Shakir Ahmad who has joined the outfit some two months back. 

The police officer identified one of the Slain militant as Shakoor Ahmad a top commander of LeT from Kulgam. Whereas the other slain militant might be an foreigner, the police officer said.
