Two lecturers suspended for distributing wrong question papers during class 12th exams

Srinagar:The Jammu and Kashmir government has suspended two lecturers who had distributed wrong question papers among the class 12th examination earlier this year. The lecturers had distributed the class 10 Urdu question papers among the class 12 students during Board of School Education (BOSE) annual examination on November 09. The wrong question papers were distributed in two exam centres at Nowhatta and Budgam. The Urdu paper of class 10th, however, was scheduled on November 13. Following the episode, the school education department had ordered a probe into the matter and has now suspended the two lecturers for distributing wrong question papers in exam centre. “Among the two suspended lecturers, one is posted in Arigam Budgam and one in Nowhatta higher secondary school,” an official said. Secretary school education department confirmed the development and said the department will not tolerate any negligence on part of any official. “The lecturers will be charge sheeted and will remain under suspension,” he said. Meanwhile, sources said the department has decided to charge the cost of re-printing of class 10th Urdu paper from the suspended lecturers.
