Zakir Musa, the leader of the al-Qaeda terrorist group's cell in Kashmir, is hiding near Bathinda or Firozpur in Punjab, according to a new intelligence input.

According to this input, issued by the Intelligence Bureau (IB), the CID and Army intelligence, Musa is disguised as a Sikh.

Photos of him in disguise have been released. Both Bathinda and Firozpur are now on high alert.

Zakir Musa was recently spotted near Amritsar. Now the chief of the Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (the al-Qaeda cell), Musa spent his student years in Punjab.

He went there to study at a private engineering college in Mohali in 2010, but he left it in 2013 after failing his exams.
