Minister for Power, Sunil Kumar Sharma today on 3rd day of his tour to the Kishtwar Constituency inaugurated Neta Ji Subash Chander Community Park at Kuleed area of Kishtwa being developed and maintained by Kishtwar Development Authority.

         The Minister was accompanied by DDC Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana, SSP Kishtwar Abrar Ahmed Choudhary, ADC Kishori Lal Sharma who is also holding the charge of CEO Kishtwar Development Authority, CAHO Dr. Sanjay Sen and other concerned officers. It was briefed to the Minister that for beautification, tile work, and grass plantation in the park, Rs 30 lakh has been utilized by the KDA till now.

Sunil Sharma took stock of the developments in the park and directed the authorities to take care for the cleanliness of park in near future so as to facilitate the community with a clean and healthy atmosphere.

         He also directed for installation of lights in and around the park, and as well as deputation of sweepers and guards in the park.

         Later, the Minister visited the nearby Chowgan ground along with the DDC and SSP Kishtwar.  He expressed his concern about the derailing condition of the historic ground and strictly directed the administration to take immediate steps for the restoration of this historic ground.

            Sharma added that an immediate and much needed cleanliness drive should be undertaken for cleanliness of the ground, for which DDC Kishtwar assured that within a week's time same shall be done and said that the administration is planning to take strict actions against those who usually dump or threw waste material inside the ground.
