Security forces launch cordon and search operation in several Anantnag villages

Srinagar:Government forces on Thursday launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in several villages of Anantnag district in south Kashmir. Reports said that searches were being carried out in several villages of Dialgam, including Kamad and Laalan. They said that the operation was jointly launched by 1 RR of army, Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). Massive searches, they said, were going on in the area at the time of filing of this report.
