Security forces on Friday morning launched a cordon and search operation in the forest area of Ganderbal district in Jammu and Kashmir.

An official said that the 5 Rashtriya Rifle (RR), 24 Rashtriya Rifle (RR) and Special Operations Group (SOG) of police from Ganderbal launched the operation after inputs about the presence of terrorists.
