Sambit Patra plans New Year vacation ; Republic TV rejects his leave application | Satire

New Delhi:New Year is around the corner, and people across the country are making plans to make the most of the holidays in the last week of 2017. Be it students or office-goers, everyone is having high hopes for the celebratory week that starts with Christmas.
BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra, who had similar plans for the big evening, was not as lucky as everyone else as his leave application was rejected, forcing him to work during the New Year week. Interestingly, Republic TV rejected Dr Patra’s leave so that he can discuss how India is turning into a Christian nation during Christmas and New Year.
Speaking exclusively to us, Dr Patra said, “Pakistan is a terror state. Pakistan endorses terror. Narendra Modi will get Karachi. Say Vande Mataram or go to Pakistan. These JNU students are anti-nationals. Sonia and Rahul Gandhi are running a suit-boot ki…” before we interrupted him to inform him that he is supposed to talk about his New Year plans.
After recollecting himself, he continued, “I mostly live in Mumbai and Delhi. Since cow is my mother in both Delhi and Mumbai, I had planned to visit northeast and have beef there, as a north-eastern cow won’t be my mother. But Arnab is a dear friend; Modi ji admires him dearly and so I had to stay back at his behest.”
Republic TV co-founder Arnab Goswami, who was busy collecting evidence on how Pakistan is responsible for converting India into a Christian nation during Christmas, took some time out to shout at us. He shouted, “THESE PSEUDO-LIBERALS FROM JNU WILL END UP MAKING MY NATION CHRISTIAN. LOVE JIHAD IS HAPPENING EVERYWHERE! OH JESUS… urm, I mean, hey Ram!”
