Principal Secretary Higher Education releases General Studies book

Jammu:
A formal book release ceremony of a comprehensive book of General studies titled "JKSSB : A Comprehensive General Studies All Graduate Level Exams"  was held at the office of Principal Secretary Higher Education. 

Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon, Principal Secretary Higher Education, released the book which is authored by Dr. Mohammad Ashfaq, Asst Prof, Higher Education Department and his wife Mrs. Shazia Parveen, hailing from Poonch.The book opens with a Preface followed by who's who page and glimpses of Jammu and Kashmir. It provides an in depth and extensive knowledge on all the topics pertaining to the syllabus of Graduation Level Posts. The major sections covered in the book include General English,  General Knowledge and Current Affairs, General Knowledge with Special Reference to J and K, General Science, Mental Ability Test and Computer Applications.   

Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon applauded the efforts of the writers and publishers as such books prove fruitful in bringing success within the domain of aspirants.He further added that the onus lies on the education system as well as educators to make the youth empoyable. The publishers and writers appraised the worthy Principal Secretary Higher Education Department of the contents of the book and thanked him for releasing it. Various eminent educationists and dignitaries including Dr. DS Manhas President CTA, Dr. Liaquat Jafari, Prof. Ajit Angeral, Dr. Sandeep Singh, Dr. Ravinder Singh, Prof. Irfan Ali,  Adv. Wajahat Kazami, Sameer Ahmed Dar, Abdul Razaq Malik and Mohammad Rashid also graced the occassion.
