Srinagar:On 15 June 19 at 1010 hours, three passengers travelling in a civil vehicle, Maruti 800 from Poonch to Surankote met with an accident at village Madana. Army personnel on duty immediately reacted to the crises and rushed to the accident spot. The Army team alongwith local people evacuated the passengers and provided immediate first aid and shifted to District Hospital Poonch for further treatment.
The timely action by men in uniform was applauded by the locals and will go a long way in further strengthening the bond between the Army and Awam.
