The funeral prayers was held around 2:30 pm at Babanagri-Wangat in Kangan area of central district of Ganderbal. People from different walks of life visited Mian Altaf and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family.
Benazir passed away after prolonged illness at Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura last evening.
The deceased was being treated for last couple of years at TATA Memorial Hospital in Mumbai. Benazir was admitted at SKIMS few days ago, where she breathed her last.
Benazir is survived by two minor sons, aged seven and five.
