JU organises workshop newly Introduced Choice Based Credit System

On the initiative of the Examination Wing of the University of Jammu, a one day Seminar-cum-Workshop on the topic “Initiatives in the newly Introduced Choice Based Credit System at the Under-graduate level” was organized in the University of Jammu wherein all the Government/Private affiliated Degree College Principals participated. A fruitful and a healthy interaction was held regarding the various examination and academic matters.

The morning session was presided over by Prof. Keshav Sharma, Dean, Academic Affairs with the panelists comprising Prof. Rajni Kant, Prof. J.P.S. Joorel and Prof. Rahul Gupta. Sh. Sanjeev Mahajan, Controller of Examinations, conducted the proceedings. 

The afternoon interaction session was presided over by Prof. Jigar Mohammed Dean, Research Studies. Prof. Jigar Mohammed highlighted the importance of new initiatives to make the Choice Based Credit System more dynamic and student centric. Prof Jigar Mohammed also shared his idea of things and urged upon the College Principals to be facilitators in the deliverance mechanism of quality academics for the benefit of the students at the Under-graduate level. All present appreciated this initiative of the Examination Wing in holding the Seminar-cum-panel discussion-cum-interaction to make things more clear so as to implement the Choice Based Credit System in letter and spirit.
