JKIANS Shine at DYSS Inter School Swimming Championship

Jammu:
JK Public School, Kunjwani participated in the Inter-School Swimming Competition conducted by District Sports Youth and Service (DYSS). The event was organised at Heritage School, Jammu from May 22 to 26, 2018.

In the competition, JKIAN, Ayush Koul, a student of Class XI displayed his talent by winning silver medal in 50 meter back stroke and respectively a bronze medal in 100 meter back stroke. He competed in under- 17(boys) category.

Meanwhile, Angel Sharma, a student of class VI won silver medal in 50 meter butterfly event wherein Suhana Godayal clinched bronze medal in 50 meter free style event. They both played under -14 (girls) category.

The medal winners were felicitated in the morning assembly today for their brilliant show of skills at the inter-school level. Principal, staff and management applauded the efforts of the JKIANS for their outstanding performance and wished them luck for future endeavours. They highly praised the efforts of the swimming coaches; Kakuram. Rampal and Seema Devi to guide the children in such a way to channelize their energy into right direction.
