Jammu:International Labour Day falls on 1st May. Many institutes and offices celebrate it by giving gifts to the workers. A special assembly was organized by the students on the occasion of (Labour Day). A special talk was given by Mrs. Shuchita Gupta, Principal Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua, to enlighten the students about the importance and relevance of the day. The students learnt valuable lessons in dignity of Labour and respecting workers and took an oath on this occasion. Labour Day was celebrated at Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua with full aplomb. The functions kicked off with a speech welcoming the workers and acknowledging their hard work.  Students presented gifts to the staff   and also served sweets and cold drink. This brings in them the empathy for the menial staff and drivers. The workers also expressed their gratitude towards the school management, teacher and students for their endeavor. Principal congratulated the workers and thanked them for their selfless services. She said they all work for our school and their hard work is always appreciated. She also motivated all the students to always give respect to the drivers, helpers and menial staff as they are the backbone of the school.
