Jammu Kashmir gets 5000 seats in PMSSS

Srinagar:Under the Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) for Jammu & Kashmir, the number of seats for academic session 2018-19 have been raised to 5000. There are 2830 seats available for Engineering and other technical degree courses, 2070 for general courses & 100 in Medical.
The scheme offers opportunities to students with marginal background to go for Engineering, Medical, Nursing and other courses in colleges across the country.
