Jammu:Jammu and Kashmir government on Friday ordered appointment of three Additional Deputy Commissioners for three Sub-Divisions of Rajouri district for which the locals were agitating for the past more than one month.
As per a government order, the government has upgraded the Sub-District Magistrates to the Additional Deputy Commissioners.
The order read that in the interest of administration and in partial modification of the Government Order, sanction is hereby accorded to the up-gradation of the following posts of Sub-Divisional Magistrates of Nowshera, Sunderbani and Kalakote as Additional Deputy Commissioners with immediate effect.
“The present incumbents holding the posts of Sub-Divisional Magistrates at these places, shall hold the charge of the posts of Additional Deputy Commissioners, Nowshera, Kalakote and Sunderbani respectively till regular arrangements are made,” it read.
Jammu and Kashmir Health Minister Bali Bhagat said, “I had a one to one meeting for around 30 minutes with the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Friday and after threadbare discussions, it was agreed to appoint ADCs in these belts.
