Srinagar:State General of Pradesh Congress Committee and Former MoS Planning Usman Majid here on today said that, I will refurbish the face of entire Bandipora Assembly Constituency. Addressing day long Party Convention at Chetarnar Bandipora, where thousands of party Workers attended the convention, Majid said that I have my own roadmap for the development of Bandipora and will do my best to implement it and will leave no stone unturned to provide people of bandipora sigh of relief at their doorstep. He said that, Unflinching support of people of Bandipora Constituency has been an immense strength to knock me every door to get developmental tempo moving in every sector
Majid exhorted upon the workers to work for strengthening the party at the grassroots level. He said that Congress Party will continue to work for overall development of the State and that the Congress believes in uniting people thereby bridging the gaps among the communities created by communal forces in order to serve their vested interests. He said that the doors of the party are always open for those who believe in the program and policies of the Congress and have faith in its leadership.
On the occasion, Majid said that power has never been the destination of mine, but to ease the problems of the people. He asked party cadre to continue with their efforts of public outreach besides extending best possible help to all masses especially the poor. If you want peace, progress, and prosperity in the state, you should strengthen the hands of Congress, he said.
Majid said that, I will give due credit and honor to each worker. He said incompetence of BJP and PDP Government pushed back State in all sectors and no progress has been recorded in the core sectors like PHE, PDD, R&B, Health, Education, etc during last four years. He said that People of Bandipora were fed up by the divisive politics being nurtured by PDP and other Parties who want to divide the society in the name of Gujjar and Muslim.
He Urged the party cadre to launch a vast contact programme and reach out to the masses, He said political worker must always remain prepared for electoral battle, more so, when the political system in the state is unstable.
Party Workers on the Occassion said that the lucidity and truthfulness in the politics of Congress and the dynamism of senior Congress Leader and Former MLA Bandipora Usman Majid to seek equitable development, peace, and prosperity for the area, has made them to work for the welfare of people of Bandipora Constituency.
Workers slammed NC and PDP for their failure in addressing the problems and issues raised by the people of Bandipora. They said that they were shown moon at the time of joining into the party, but they left them abondened at the mercy of the God. They said that PDP and NC in Bandipora is a sinking ship added that it is only Usman Majid in Bandipora who can lead the Constituency towards the development.
