Hajin Police recovers kidnapped girl within 6 hours

Srinagar:Hajin Police on Saturday recovered a kidnapped girl within six hours after her parents approached Hajin Police.
Parents of the victim girl (name withheld) approached Police station Hajin on Saturday morning with a complaint saying that their daughter was kidnapped while she went to attend the natures’ call on Saturday morning. They also revealed names of few of the suspects.
On the complaint, Police registered FIR No 08of 2018 US 366 RPC and immediately swung into action to trace the kidnapped girl .
The Police constituted a team headed by SHO Hajin Saqib Ghani (DySP Probationer) under the supervision of SSP Bandipora Sheikh Zulfkar Azad and arrested the suspects for questioning.
On the tip off of the arrested suspects and tracing phone calls, Police team raids various places and finally traced the girl near lower Munda in Qazigund while the kidnaper was trying to take the girl to Jammu. The girl was later handed over to her parents in Hajin.
The locals have appreciated and thanked the Police for taking quick action to recover the girl.
