Centre government seems in no mood to bring any new face as Governor of Jammu and Kashmir. Highly placed sources of UNT in Rashtrapati Bhawan said that Centre government is in favour that NN Vohra should continue as Governor of Jammu and Kashmir for another term as Centre is happy with working of NN Vohra in Jammu and Kashmir.

However no official communication in this regard has been sent by Rashtrapati Bhawan, but as told, in coming days, it will be made official.

BJP leaders Ganeshi Lal and Kummanam Rajasekharan were today appointed as Governors of Odhisa and Mizoram respectively.

According to a Rashtrapati Bhavan communique, Prof. Ganeshi Lal will take over as the new governor of Odhisa, a post which had fallen vacant in March this year after veteran Naga leader S C Jamir completed his tenure.

Bihar Governor Satya Pal Malik had been given additional charge of Odhisa. Lal is a former Haryana BJP chief.
