FROM JAMMU TO ROYAL BRITISH ARMY : STORY OF MANPREET SINGH SUDAN

England:Jammu lad Manpreet Singh Sudan has been appointed as Gunner in the King’s Troop Regiment of Royal Artillery in the UK army. He is the first one to represent Sikh community in this Regiment.
Son of Gurcharn Singh and Swarndeep Kour, Manpreet Singh Sudan shares a shy nature and hardly finds it comfortable to face the Camera, so do we are writing his journey to UK Army.
His role includes performing royal duties for the Royal Family including the Queen itself for which he was inducted in the UK army this October.
Manpreet completed his higher education from Guru Harkrishan Public School, Jammu after which he moved to UK where he completed his degree in Information Technology.
"I may not have got the opportunity to serve in the Indian armed force but all my moves in the UKS were intended to bring pride for my country." said Manpreet who hails from Chatha area of Jammu City.
