Former Minister Sat Sharma starts developmental works in Pamposh Colony, Janipur

Former Minister and Ex-MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) started construction works of lane at Sector 1, Pamposh Colony, Near Shiv Temple, Ward 38. Sharma was also accompanied by a large number of people including Corporator Ward 38 Surinder Sharma, District President BJP Munish Khajuria, Mandal President Raveesh Mengi, JMC (Jammu Municipal Corporation) officials, local residents and political activists of the area.

The works are being done under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of Rupees 10.61 lakhs and the funds were sanctioned from the CDF (Constituency Development Fund) scheme of Former MLA which was sanctioned during his tenure and its work was delayed due to code of conduct of elections and other reasons, but the work was taken up as soon as the process got cleared.

Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the main concern in Ward 38 was decades old water pipes and sewerage system which was totally replaced during his tenure as MLA. He said hundreds of crores were spent and the works were done under the supervision ERA (Economic Reconstruction Agency) in all 26 wards of Jammu West Assembly segment and this work solved many problems of locals. He stated that now houses in the Constituency including Ward 38 have clean drinking water and a channelized sewerage system which was a problem earlier from more than 30 years which has also improved sanitation system in the area and has also contributed in promoting "SWACH BHARAT" vision of our hard working Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Surinder Sharma hailed the pro active approach of Former MLA and stated that Ward 38 have been equipped with all modern infra and stated that Jammu West has been developed to its fullest and pending works will also be taken in some time to avoid public distress. The pace of development in Jammu West shows that constituency progressed a lot in last 5 years and has reached to the mark of a Model Constituency.

Sharma along with Corporator, BJP leaders, JMC officials and locals also toured other adjoining areas in the Ward and asked the officials to prepare the estimates for pending works in the area so that their works can also be taken up soon as possible.

Sandeep Dogra, Lalit Luthra, Jyoti Sharma, Ajay Manhas, JL Bamzai, Sanjay Bhat, CM Chawla, TS Negi, SK Raina, Kuldeep Bhat, AKSapru, Munish Raja, Ramesh Sharma and several others were also present.
