Farooq Abdullah files nomination papers for Srinagar parliamentary seat

Srinagar:
National Conference (NC) president Dr. Farooq Abdullah filed his nomination papers for the upcoming Lok Sabha 2019 Elections at the DC office in Srinagar on Monday.
Abdullah, who was accompanied by vice president NC Omar Abdullah and general secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, filed papers for Srinagar-Budgam parliamentary seat which is going to polls on April 18.
NC and Congress have forged an alliance for the upcoming Lok Sabha election. While Congress has not fielded any candidate from Srinagar, NC has said there will be “friendly” contest in Jammu. 
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has fielded Aga Mohsin from Srinagar constituency.
