In connection with the observation of Anti-Terrorism Day on 21st of May, the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu organized a Poster Making competition for the students of the University of Jammu. Dean Students Welfare, Prof. Jasbir Singh informed that every year 21st of May is observed as Anti-Terrorism Day in India to wean away youth from terrorism and also to make them understand that how dangerous it is for the World.

Students from different departments of the University participated in the event and expressed their ideas about the theme ‘Anti Terrorism’ in a creative manner. A pledge was also taken during an oath ceremony. Others who were present on the occasion included Prof. S.K. Pandita, Chairman, Campus Cultural Committee, Dr. B.K. Bajaj, Associate Dean SW, Dr. Garima Gupta, Dr. Anil Gupta Assistant Deans SW, Dr. Vinay Thusoo, PRO Students Welfare and Incharge Media Cell, Dr. Savita Nayyar, Dr. Pallavi Sachdeva, Dr. Meghna Dhar members of Campus Cultural Committee. The event was coordinated by Ifra Kak, Cultural Officer and Sumeet Sharma, Drama Instructor.
