Srinagar:A paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man was killed after terrorists attacked the security force in Kakpora area of south Kashmir's Pulwama district on Sunday.
Quoting reports, news agency GNS said that the militants fired on CRPF men at railway station Kakapora, leaving one injured.
It said the CRPF party had arrived in the area for the ongoing panchayat polls.
The injured soldier, identified as head constable Chandrika Prasad of 183 D Coy, was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed.
