DDC Doda Bhawani Rakhwal inaugurated the All India 14th Gufran Memorial T-20 Cricket Championship at sports stadium Doda here today.

The tournament is being organised by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by 10RR Doda.

In this tournament, around 64 teams including 20 teams from other states will be participating.

The inaugural match was played between Nadu Cricket Club Chattisgarh and Final Cricket Club Doda.

SSP Doda Mohd Shabir, ACR Doda Tariq Hussain Naik, Major 10RR, Patron Manzoor Butt, Chairman YSCC Naseer Khora and a large number of spectators were present in the match.

Chief guest DDC Doda Bhawani Rakwal appreciated the role of Young Star Cricket Club Doda for organizing such event from the last 14 years.

 He said Gufran championship provides a requisite platform for the youth of Chenab valley to show their hidden talent in sports. Gufran memorial provides a big platform for local players as they play alongside of famous cricketers of International and IPL teams.
