Srinagar:A 17-year-old boy drowned in river Jhelum in Drangbal area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday.
The boy was identified as Momin Manzoor son of Manzoor Ahmed Dar of Jalsheeri, Baramulla, news agency GNS reported.
Reports said that boy was bathing in Jhelum when he drowned.
Meanwhile, the police and locals have started a rescue operation to retrieve his body.
