Rajouri:In the wake of upcoming elections to Block Development Councils to be held in the district on the 24th of October, 2019, a one day training programme under the supervision of District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Aijaz Asad, was conducted here today.
The training was conducted to make the concerned officers and officials involved in the election process aware of various aspects of BDC elections in the district. More than 200 polling personnel attended the training programme.
During the programme, Master trainer, Iqbal Raina, informed the polling staff about the various responsibilities of the presiding officers and other procedural aspects like opening and sealing of the ballot boxes, filling of the different election related forms, counting of the votes etc.
