Kashmir:Senior Congress leader and former union health minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, Higher edu minister Minister Imran Raza Ansari including other high profile politicians today visited Kreeri, Baramulla to offer condolences to the family of veteran journalist and Editor of daily Rising Kashmir, Dr. Syed Shujaat Bukhari who was killed by unknown assailants in Srinagar on Thursday.
Sympathizing with the mourners, the former Minister said the killing of Shujaat Bukhari has sent a wave of anger and shock all across and it has been unequivocally condemned at local, national and international levels.
Minister said the contribution made by Shujaat Bukhari in bringing innovations to the media in the State is historic and worth emulating for younger generation.
On the occasion, Minister also interacted with the family members of Shujaat Bukhari and conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the entire family on the tragic loss.
Ministers, legislators, prominent political and community leaders and people from all across the Valley were present on the occasion.
