The annual Charri Yatra of Mata Chandi is commencing from Jammu on 17th of august (Friday) while the Thali Poojan Ceremony will be performed on 16.08.2018 (Thursday). 

This was decided today in a meeting  at Sarv Shakti Chandi Mata Mandir located in Shri Maha Lakshmi Mandir, Pacca Danga, Jammu.                 It was decided that the Thali poojan will be performed at Maha Laxmi Mata Mandir at pacca danga at 2 pm on Thursday while the Pious Thali alongwith a religious procession 

shall be taken on 17th of August, 2018 (Friday) at 6:00 A.M. to 07:00 A.M. from Sh. Maha Laxmi Mandir, Pacca Danga, Jammu which passing through Pacca Danga, Jain Bazar, 

Link Road, Purani Mandi, City Chowk, Raghunath Bazar reach Indira Chowk at 07:00 A.M. to 08:00 A.M. 

Thereafter, the Yatra buses shall proceed towards Sarv Shakti Chandi Mata Mandir Dhami Nagrota, Jammu. After paying obeisance the yatris shall proceed towards Sarv Shakti Chandi Mata Mandir Chinote, Bhaderwah, the Base Camp of Machail Yatra wherefrom the Pious Chharri of Mata Chandi shall be taken on 18th of 

August, 2018 towards Machail the abode of Godess Chandi. 

This year as thousands of pilgrims are daily visiting the holy shrine of Godess Chandi at Machail, the number of devotees is all set to break all previous records.
