KNIT celebrates Teacher's Day; pays rich tribute to Dr. Srawapalli Radhakrishan | Education

Jammu:To commemorate the birthday of great scholar philosopher, statesman , visionary and India's second President  Srawapalli Dr Radhakrishan, Kotwal National Institute of Teaching (KNIT) celebrated 'Teachers' Day' in the school premises today. The function started with lightening of ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries. Main attraction of the function was Pupil Teacher from higher classes teaching their juniors. The pupil teacher  reflected   their potentials as future teachers. The students greeted their teachers with wishes and presented a cultural program to show their respect. Main item of the function was a debate on the topic '  Guru Bin Gyan Nahi'. The winners were awarded by the Director of the school Prof. J L Kotwal impressed upon the teachings of the Great Scholar Dr Radhakrishnan. The principal Mrs Bimla Blowria also greeted the teachers on the occasion and said that since they are the real torch bearer of the society they should understand their responsibilities towards building an India of Gandhi, nehru, Radhakrishnan and of course Dr Kalam and Narrendra Modi. Students also presented some cultural items on the occasion.
