OORJA CAPF’s UNDER-19 FOOTBALL TALENT HUNT TOURNAMENT-2017

Jammu:

Today  the final match of Oorj CAPF's under 19 Football Talent Hunt Tournament 2017 in women section, organized by the SSB Jammu in collaboration with the University of Jammu at the University Stadium, was played between the teams of Telangana and Assam which was won by Assam by  1-0 goal.

Prof.R.D Sharma Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu was the Chief Guest of the Final Match and players officials   were introduced with the Chief Guest at the beginning of the match.

Prof. Sharma personally interacted with all the players and said that such events not only provides the opportunity for players to exhibit their talent but also helps in personality development and instilling the spirit of discipline. 

Besides keeping a person physically fit, sports also helps in inculcating team spirit, self confidence and competition,  added Prof. Sharma.

Others present there were Prof.Avtar S. Jasrotia, Director Sports & Physical Education,University of Jammu ,Dr. Neeraj Sharma Special Secretary to the Vice-Chancellor, P.D Singh from  JU  and officers  of the SSB.
