Srinagar:Kashmir on Tuesday witnessed 39 per cent voting in the ninth and final phase of Panchayat elections, said the data released by state election office.
While the south Kashmir’s Pulwama district recorded the lowest turnout of 1.4 percent, north Kashmir’s Kupwara witnessed highest percentage of 53.6 percent during the last phase.
Voting started at 8 am and ended at 2 pm.
The overall polling recorded in seven districts of Kashmir is as follows:
